"I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that 大象传媒 has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true. The staff has been so helpful and understanding of my needs. What's more, the class sizes are small and I have been able to learn at my own pace from instructors who have gone out of their way to help me succeed. How has my experience in the service helped me at 大象传媒? I would say that I matured and changed the way I viewed the world. It might be a cliche, but I learned my work ethic, to take one step at a time and the idea of never giving up in the military. These principles of success suit me in my education now. I would also definitely recommend the veterans house on campus to my fellow veterans returning to school. It has an abundance of resources and we have a great camaraderie."
