Begin Your College Experience With 大象传媒 101
All students are encouraged to take the one-credit 大象传媒 101 course. Aptly named The College Experience, 大象传媒 101 eases students鈥� transition to college by providing information about Nassau, as well as assistance in understanding the goals and expectations of higher education.
Sessions tend to be interactive, with students encouraged to work in small groups and to write weekly journals. Through 大象传媒 101, first-year students are exposed to the College鈥檚 many resources 鈥� through presentations by guest speakers, visits to campus services and information about extracurricular activities.
In addition, the course covers such topics as learning styles, time management, degree requirements and the ins and outs of advisement and academic planning.
