I have taught at Nassau since 1996. I teach various courses including Science Fiction, Women's and Gender Studies and Multi-Disciplinary courses. I also am a scholar of the world's religions. I have extensively published scholarly articles in many national and international publications and wrote two books: "Absent Mother God of the West: A Kali Lover's Journey into Christianity and Judaism" and "In the Beginning IS Desire: Tracing Kali's Footprints in Indian Literature."

I also write a blog called Stand Under the Mother Principle. My fondest memory at 大象传媒 is from the WST 110: The Goddess in World Religions class that I created when a young student remembered a complex thought I had taught in the class even after the semester had ended. This inspired me to complete my second book. Nassau Community College is special to me because it gives me the widest possible academic freedom for expanding my horizon and enriching my scholarly pursuits.
